Guitar Lady

This lady is often seen around Manchester. I spotted her here in the Arndale centre, eating a Pot Noodle. Every time I see her, it bothers me. Who is she? How did she come to be this way? I don't know if she lives on the streets as I don't see her carrying a sleeping bag although she always has a couple of carrier bags as well as her trusty guitar. It's difficult to say if she can play it because, whenever I have seen her strumming, she is doing it so quietly that I can't hear. She might be down on her luck but she is proud because Graham once offered her money to buy a hot drink and she wouldn't take it, because she wasn't playing her guitar. She will take money when she is playing the guitar.

She looks so weary. What a life.
