Taking a break

It was decorating day today. The tree has been up since friday.

Mr M here arranged the tree which came out of an Ash forest next door to him owned by the brother of a woman whom I did a favour for at the Hospital Bazaar a couple of weeks ago. This is how things happen in the country, you scatch my back and I'll scratch yours...its a sort of meitheal system.

The Christmas dinner turkey is also being supplied f.o.c. by a tenant of Mr M who raises them.

Perhaps I will be able to survive on this system after January!
