New Years Eve

A fairly low key event this year. I hosted dinner at home for two close friend who were also back visiting their families over Christmas.

We sat out on the patio enjoying food, wine and lots of long overdue catching up.

On tonights menu was baby gnocchi with a spiced vegetable and chorizo sauce, and a dessert of mini pavlovas with fresh mango, passionfruit and rasberries topped with vanilla bean icecream.

I thought i'd whip out my masterchef skills to celebrate an overall successful 2011.
