Covent garden on Hogmanay!

Today we fed our faces for breakfast before meeting an old school friend, her hubby and daughter for cake and coffee. We wandered around covent garden for a bit. There are just so many people in London just now, the tubes are mobbed.

We're now getting ourselves organized for dinner and then a river boat cruise. All going to plan we should be on the Thames watching the fireworks at midnight. Not hopeful at hearing Big Ben though as I've heard the crowds drown him out :-(
