Happy New Years Eve!

2012 is just around the corner.

I found these 2 items on my walks today, one is a piece of Bark, the other is a Crab Apple.
I want a Crab Apple Tree in my garden, also I'd like one of those tree's that are Pink Blossoming now.
Anyone know what they are called please? :o)
