Lake Hopatcong

Seems like I am gravitating towards lakes and water lately. This is a very large lake not too far from where I live.

In some areas of the lake the houses are built very close together on very steep inclines. They have narrow wooden stairs that lead down from the road to the houses that sit right on the lake. It is pretty neat really.

There are only one or two places that I saw where you can take some photos. I thought it unwise to try to get down some of those stairs (trespassimg) at least for now. I may go back again to see what else I might find!! Maybe a friendly person that might let me climb down?
