Murky new year!

So the last day of 2011 has been typically murky and manky! I've been a right grumpy mare today, whining on in my head about how shit the year's been but It's just struck me how lucky I am. 2011 may have been the year that went from shit to shitter, but I've just got a feeling that 2012 will be the year that goes from shitter to better to bloody fantastic! Seriously, I have so much to be thankful for.

Right now I'm feeling thankful for the amazing people I have in my life, at the top of that list being my beautiful Bella who is just one of life's little stars. I'm thankful that I live here, that I'm surrounded by beaches and moors and magical places. I'm thankful for the NHS, Cornwall may be trailing behind the rest of the universe in most things but when it comes to early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer it's right up there with the best. I'm thankful that I'll be entering 2012 a third of the way through the first stage of treatment. 2012 will be the year of getting better and being thankful!!! And I'll stop there before I make myself cringe (too late, I'm cringing already!) ;)

Edit: I'm not thankful for my sodding neighbour or her dogs though. bloody woman's on the rampage. Grrrrrrrr
