Out with the old

Spent the night on the settee thanks to some awesome stomach pains. I convinced myself that my appendix was about to burst! It didn't. A slight over reaction on my part maybe!!!

Got woken up at 5 by over excited doggies. Just want indeed onto day that I HAVE to stay up til midnight.

Went over harbourne to a great little pub run by Aussies where we treated ourselves to afternoon tea and champagne. It was fab. I'm not a bi fan of tea but I have to say it was the best cuppa I've ever had.

This evening we went round to ma n pa's for our traditional take out,games and DVD. Ma got really sick so is sleeping it off in the other room. Dad is drunk as usual and has no sympathy for the fact she is I'll saying she shouldn't eat so much. Hmmmmm arguments before midnight I think.

Now this is one of the reasons I can't stand new yr. Everyone feeling compelled to stay up and see off the old yr. At least it beats vein out with people who keep banging on about how next yr is their yr and it will be great. If I was them I'd be pretty cheesed off that I'd wasted a whole yr waiting for the nxt one!
