Happy new year

The view from my house tonight. Not so long afterwards the neighborhood was "on fire". We Icelanders are such a big fans of fireworks. I did take some pictures of the fireworks, but since it was my first try, it wasn't so great.

We were four family members at dinner tonight, as my daughter has left to Copenhagen again. It is always a bit sad to say goodbye, but life goes on...
