Happy Birthday J!

A really late start after a really late night. B cracked open the fireworks, and he and J put on a pretty good display. The kids were super impressed.

We headed out for lunch for J's 40th Birthday. Having my family stay here has given me a chance to really get to know my brother-in-law, nieces and nephew. It's helped me to get to know my sister again too. It's been pretty much fantastic to have them. I can't believe they're heading home on Tuesday. I'd like to keep them here.

A dog walk with JL, church and then antipasto in the garden has finished off a fantastic day.

Currently drinking a very nice 28 year old Caol Ila and not really wanting the first day of 2012 to end.
