Jason Eklund, musician, doing his tribute to Kell

Dear ole Kell Robertson, a hard-living rascal but incredibly awesome poet and writer/musician, just passed away in early November. Some of the ole poets from the "Miracle on Berry Street" days gathered on the front porch of Kendall McCook to pay tribute to Kell--with songs, stories, laughter, and plenty of ice chest beers.

Jason Eklund happened to be passing through town from Nashville, so his timing was perfect. He and Kell logged plenty of mileage on Jason's car, touring across the southwest together. RIP, Kell, we're gonna miss you, hombre.
