Waiting for the next riders

I love this carousel when it comes to town. It really is as old as it looks. I can't recall the exact year (I'd need to check old photos) but it was in the 1880s. It still uses the original organ to play the music, though it's electrically powered now rather than steam.
I usually end up getting to it when I have hands full of shopping!
Missed it again this year, but at least my little one got to go on :)

Sometimes being a big kid can be great fun!
