the beginning...

I think this picture beautifully captures how I am reflecteing on the beginning of a new year. The leaves were once green but have withered as they nourished something new. Some fruit are ripe for the picking; some are still growing and brimming with potential. The end product may seem obvious...but who knew there could be so much! In the year ahead I hope my gratefulness grows and yields as much my tomatoes have.
