Not a holiday

While the rest of you loll around nursing your hangovers and wondering how long those impetuous resolutions will last, I have a busy day preparing for C's return later.

Washing - on
Some ironing - done
Cards - stuck on the wall
House - tidy
Washing-up - done
sod it, that's enough

To make more of a challenge C has decided that I will go to Windsor (C's travel companion K lives there) to prepare the homecoming feast. An extra checklist for working in a kitchen that is rarely used for real cooking:

Ginger
Separator jug
Wire whisk

USB stick (to transfer K's pictures onto)
