Happy new year

We had a wonderful New Year's evening with good friends in Malmö. It was an evening of much laughter, good food, interesting discussions and the right amount of alcohol. At midnight we all went out to the piazza in front of Malmö opera. There were lots of people there to listen to entertainment and to see the magnificent fireworks. Afterwards, it continued with dancing in the piazza, a big band orchestra played up inside the opera house and spread the sweet tones out of the square. It was a really lovely seeing young and old together, and everywhere I looked there was joy an laughter.

When I woke up this morning , the dark side comes over me as I turn on the radio and hear the news. one fifteen year old boy shot in the head ... in Malmö that same night ... Several injured by rockets, fire, rape, assault, etc. ...

Damn ...
