New Year. New Start.

I decided to take a few weeks away from blip to heal from that cluster of infection I had, and also to deal with the 'festive' season. It's always a rough time of year for me, and I didn't want to be a buzzkill for any innocent blippers stumbling upon my crazy part of the blipworld. Not only was this 'festive' season worse than normal, I am STILL suffering from the ear infection, which made for a rather unfriendly woman.

So. Here I am. It's a new year, and a new start... With a seemingly mandatory pyrotechnics photo. I saw in the new year with a great friend, sitting on the bank of the Yarra river, watching the pretty fireworks display that Melbourne offered 800,000 revellers.

This year is set to be incredible. I have so many amazing opportunities coming my way in the photojournalism industry. Some of which I still have trouble believing I've managed to score, still being a new-comer in the industry.
But more importantly, this is going to be a family oriented year: Master Four Year Old starts his first year of school in 36 days, and becomes Master FIVE Year old in 67 days; I'm going to be visiting my family in London, and meeting a new addition to the family; For the first time ever, I am at a good point with my mother; The brother who has been away for two and a half years is back in my life; Mid year The Boyfriend and I move into OUR house - that we own; and in August I become a WIFE!!
