Catch Me If You Can

Happy New Year.

Quiet hogmanay last night. Daughter and I saw in the New Year with Jools then in bed by 1am. Been a strange holiday for us this year with hubby away. He is never usually away for both Christmas and New Year. Think we are all looking forward to seeing each other later in the week.

The scene in our garden this morning.

I was just settling down to my coffee and catch up on iPlayer when I noticed the neighbours cat in the garden. I have chased it from here before as I suspect sooner or later it will be successful. I ran and got my camera, changed the lens and managed to get a few shots like this. I thought the cat had disappeared so put my camera down only to see it taking a leap at the feeder. Fortunately nothing was caught but what a shot I could have got, assuming I had the settings right !
