School Mission

Today we joined Hannah at a church in Shropshire (Trefonen) to listen to her presentation on School Mission, the charity in Zambia that she works for.

I was particularly moved by the story of Kiran, a Zambian boy who wants to learn more about following Jesus, and study hard at school.
He asked Hannah for help, not for the latest gadgetry to help him study, but for candles so that he can complete his school work in the evenings (it gets dark around 6.00pm).

Was so challenged by how much we take for granted!

Of course, he got his candles :0)
