Time for wrapping ...

Today was all about buying the last of my presents in town and trying to avoid the madness and mayhem I knew was ahead.

Up early and in town by 9.30am ... wizzed round, caught out by a sudden blast of hail stones (the sky went dark by 10.30am)

Bought my ticket to catch one of the last showings of My Week with Marilyn at the cinema.

By 11am I was on the bus home to dump the shopping and return into town.

So much for balmy weather ... it was baltic. Bought a lentil soup before the film to warm me up ...
Unfortunately, the plastic spoon I was using sliced my mouth up ...
Still went to the cinema ...

Film was fab! It was then time to get home and start wrapping presents ...

As for the mouth ... it will heal ... I'll just avoid plastic spoons in future!
