Twiglet
Yesterday, being the last day of the year, we decided to take a walk in a nature reserve about 20 miles away, followed by coffee and Christmas Pudding with Cream, in a fine little coffee house just before they closed up in order to allow the staff away to their New Year celebtarions. As we walked along I broke off a few attractine looking twigs and dried out plants to bring home for blipping.
This worked very much in my favour today as I am back in the bed having still not shaken off the bug which laid me low a couple of days ago. I'll be ok but I just need to clear the ache in the chest before I go doing any more long walks. All may not be peace and tranquility tomorrow however as out student types are angling for lifts to Dublin and their new college terms. There is truly no rest for the wicked.
What they don't know however is that if they drag me into delivering them and their baggage to their various places, I will take the opportunity of popping in to the Chester Beatty Library to see an exhibition of pre 1860 photos made in China. Don't you go telling them now. They don't need to know that Mrs Joesblips and I might actually be out enjoying ourselves, do they?
So, I crept out of bed for a few minutes and out into the hallway with me, where there was a nice bit of light coming through the glass panels of the front door and you get "Twiglet" for your enjoyment or otherwise.
