New Year's Day walk

We went for a walk along the Kennet and Avon between Semington and Seend. It was bleak. We got about 3 miles along the very muddy canal towpath, then it started raining...

I've taken earthdreamer up on his challege: my New Year's photography resolutions are:
To take more photographs and fewer snapshots;
To take out a subscription to a monthly magazine (any recommendations?) and try out some of the projects;
To join the local photography club.
