New Years Eve.

We celebrated NYE with Tarek and Sarah...

Our evening begun with a thai dinner at a restaurant in Wimbledon. This was part of a package that we booked the day before consisting of dinner, a live comedy show and entrance to a club, all in 35 quid which I thought was reasonable for NYE...

Dinner was lovely, with full bellies we headed over the road to the comedy show. There were 3 acts and a host, all of which were good. The last guy had me in stitches but I dont think Pops was too impressed with his sense of humour. In all fairness, he was just acting like a prat for half an hour but I find silly stuff like that funny...

After the comedy acts we decided to leave Wimbledon and give up our opportunity to see in the new year in The Watershed Club, we made our way to Rubicon in Surbiton. It was a small bar which I had never been to before, it was quiet but nice. This is where the photo above was taken. When the clock struck 12, the pizza restaurant next door held a mini fireworks display in the street, we jumped on their band wagon and watched....

I was pretty drunk by the end of the night... Hangover tomorrow?
