Last week bought this Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar MC 135mm f/3.5 as for a long time have been thinking of trying out some manual lens with suitable adapter for my Canon DSLR. Of course this is not as fast lens as it could be but still it is considered to be quite good quality.

It has been quite interesting to notice the shortcomings modern DSLRs have and the fact that they really teach us to trust to technology instead of good old skills ;) IEven if I'm not going to sell my AF lenses first thing tomorrow it might be that I have to study these oldies a bit more e.g. with good standard primes as Carl Zeiss Planar T* 50mm 1.7 or then even Carl Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f/1.4 as a start.. ;)
