Vegetarian Bliss
Up until a couple of years ago I wasn't a big fan of Brussel Spouts. I wanted to like them. I REALLY did. They are just so darn cute. So I never passed up an opportunity to try them. After many not so good attempts, one day, everything changed. I had them at a restaurant with Balsamic vinegar and sea salt. I've craved them ever since. After a few recipe attempts at home I have finally found a winner! A recipe that brings out the sweetness and conquers the bitterness. Everything changed with that first bite a few years back. Amazing really. I'm so glad I never gave up on them. They take a while to cook so the pistachios are keeping me company.
