My First Photo

Happy New Year to everyone.

This is my first photo of what I hope will be many as I try to encapsulate my 2012 in Yorkshire.

Heavy night bringing in the new year combined with a wet day limited my photo opportunities today, so began with a photo of the Christmas Tree.

I'm using a fairly basic Canon SureShot SX120 but hoping that daily practice will help me take better photos as I progress.
