Monarch of the Glen

The red deer stag is a Scottish icon, the largest land mammal in Britain. An estimated 300,000 red deer live in Scotland.

Today I spotted this one in the Grassmarket, Edinburgh although it is normally known for different kinds of marauding "Stags"

After work ran 10km up round Arthurs Seat, I'm guessing every tourist in town was there...........and their dogs. Bizarre, it would have been easier running along Princes Street on a Saturday afternoon!!
