I'm the green one.

'Moved into my own place today...always a nice feeling, but it has the ambience of a birdcage. Even though the Observatory suburb is pretty safe and sound nowadays, every orifice of every structure here is covered by old iron cages (look closely and you'll see they're painted white on my windows, which is a little strange coming from a town where we leave the keys in our cars. Still, it's a little exciting to crack open extra padlocks when you want to go outside... or water the plants.

As usual, I'm seeing my breath - the other thing houses in this city were designed to do is keep Apartheiders super cool all the time (pun intended), yet no one got the memo about winter and heaters and so forth. But, despite my whining, this place is pretty darn comfy and cozy. And now under my blankets!
