A Good Start

We welcomed the New Year with good friends, Paul and Sharon and their daughter Rose.

After a few hours sleep, got to bed at 3am and lots of discussions about how appalling the weather was, we ventured out to Sarah's house. Sarah is our choir's music director and has become a great friend.

She and her other guests can sing and play many different instruments. So we spent a very enjoyable afternoon listening to them play and joining in with the songs.

I was temporarily oblivious to the grey day outside.

The blip is Sarah's garden. It is just what a garden should be - with lots of interesting plants and wildlife.

I sat for a while listening to the birds and trying to take photos of them on the bird feeder.

It was perfect.
