Fabulous friends

Everyone was up late this morning so it meant I had nearly 2 hours of quiet which was a nice change. After a late breakfast we set off to see Katie and Karen (My girl). We had a lovely time together. The adults nattered and the children played. Such easy company where I can just be myself (despite my daughter's embarrassment of me)! Had a lovely party tea that will keep us going for a week! Lots of scrumptious food and a piece of gorgeous Christmas cake with fabulous icing!

Katie kept us entertained all day. She is one gorgeous little girl. My two love seeing her and playing together. I had lots of the usual gorgeous Katie shots and some of the three of them, but went with this one as it is of both our friends. I bodged a lot of the shots and the black and white settings I did all converted back to RAW original when I downloaded them. Wish I had put my flash on now for these together shots. I am still nervous about using flash! Need to practise more ...hopefully many more opportunities to photograph these friends this year.
