Nativity

As long as I can remember we've had this large set of plaster nativity figures (what you see here is about 3/4, there's even a camel!). Although we aren't religious at all my parents still erect them each Christmas, simultaneously with the christmas tree.
The whole set is over a century old, originally belonging to my great-grandparents, who presumably procured them from a church somehow. The figures are quite large; the standing ones are around 30 cm tall. It seems to be a standardized collection as I've seen exactly the same figures in other places, but much smaller and much younger.

It will probably be in the living room for a few days before they get wrapped up in newspapers and put in the attic :).
