Wishes

Hogmanay is always at our house with both sides of our extended family coming together. Not everyone could manage as Baby A needed to be home, but there were lots of messages going back and forward.

I had a lovely notion that before midnight we would set of some lanterns with our wishes written on. It was fun but a complete disaster, the wind was playing havoc and that's why 4 folks were surrounding it. Anyway this one didn't get of the ground despite best efforts but there was some success with others.

I like seeing the new year in with my family.
