Good Luck in 2012?

Tonight we were having our usual black eyed peas on new years for good luck. I think it is a southern thing but I am not sure. My dad was supposed to watch the beans while my mom and I ran an errand and they burned! I am not sure what that will do for us as far as good luck in 2012! Well anyways happy new year! I am excited about what this new year will bring!
