Eve With Her Toy Alli (Alligator)

Invited to a friend's house for a traditional Southern New Years Day lunch. On the menu - Hoppin John (black-eyed peas & rice with ham), Cornbread, etc. When I arrived, their dog Eve was in full play mode. I had fun taking pictures of her. Had another friend that wanted to cook supper at my house. It was great because we continued the Southern tradition with Mustard Greens, Pork Chops, Black-Eyed peas, rice and gravy. I am miserable but it was a wonderful start to the new year. I would not be here if it weren't for my friends.
