Winter Blue

today the lake was a cold as it looks. A brief dip in a quiet corner made my shoulders go numb within minutes. For those of you that have never tried it, there's (almost) no greater natural high than that enjoyed from a swim in ice cold water. Once the pain goes, all that remains is euporia and a floaty feeling that invigorates the senses as you fight to catch your breath. Not for the feint hearted!
