Are you having a laugh?

I've got the hangover from hell,
my body's up round my ears,
and you're telling me
that it's not New Year's Day.

That I slept my way
through the whole 24 hours.

Well what time is it now?
You're joking?

And I'm due at work!

It's a Bank Holiday
but they're expecting me
to turn up and clock on
when all I want to do is turn in.

Then haul me up, boys.
Pack me off to sea.

I may be the worse for wear
but I'll do my duty.
