Orchid in Light and Shade

took this in the morning with intentions of getting better blips as the day progressed - oh well! It looked good on the camera screen.

But I've been trawling through the dross to fill in the gaps in my journal so its not a photography competition (I need to keep reminding myself) but a photo-journal.

So this orchid is the only one I have ever managed to get to flower year after year - 5th time now and twice within the last twelve months!
