A very Scottish new year

Well, here it is, my first ever blip. I've edited and replaced the photo as the original one was taken a couple of days ago, so here are two things I need to sort out this year... The shortbread represents fattening foods, and the nicotine is self explanatory. My waistline can't handle the fatty foods, and my purse can't take the expense of the nicotine so they both need to go. The foil can stay though, that'll be useful for keeping my healthy food fresh ;O)

Yesterday, my friend LeeAnne introduced me to two of her friends from here, Dotty and Sands, as well as Dotty's lovely dog Betty. We had a fabulous start to the New Year, a walk on Gullane beach followed by hot chocolate in the pub, girly giggles and lashings and lashings of ginger beer!

It was a fantastic 1st day of the year, and I just know its going to be a good one.
