An Edwardian New Year's Celebration

Every year we celebrate New Year's Eve with friends. We have a fancy dress theme and each couple brings a course of the meal. This year our theme was Downton Abbey. Unfortunately nobody was that keen on coming in 'downstairs' attire so we all ended feeling quite grand in our evening dress!

It was a great evening, with a 4 course meal (we decided the average 8 courses served in Edwardian times was a step too far!), canapes made from an original recipe served on the titantic, lots to drink and great company!
