Uncle Dave

Uncle Dave hates having his picture taken. He also knows quite a bit about photography, and is a Cannon user himself, so he was helping me to learn more about my new camera. I used it as an excuse to photograph the living daylights out of him yesterday, in and outdoors. Sneaky me! ;-)

Dave just totaled his car. He attempted to make a left hand turn on green light but not green arrow. An 18-wheeler blocked his view of the oncoming traffic, and his car was hit by another driver. Luckily nobody was hurt, but it would cost more to fix his car than the car was worth. So, there is a new car coming up in the family. Fortunately, Uncle Dave is quite a mechanic, so he can get a used car in a decent condition and make it sing.

Dave is wearing his English grandfather's hat, which was given to him at Christmastime.
