Happy Birthday Mum xx

Today is my mum's birthday and she had asked me to make her a chocolate cake. This is what I made for her. Happy Birthday Mum and it's been nice to be able to spend the day with you again.

Had a lovely walk along Bexhill seafront this morning. It was breezy but bright and everyone seemed to have the same idea. It was incredibly busy - everyone making the most of the first dry, bright days for ages. They're forecasting heavy rain again for overnight and all day tomorrow :-( Looking forward to a Chinese takeaway tonight to celebrate mum's birthday and then tomorrow I must start eating more healthily.
