Blue tit

It's so important to feed the birds through the winter months - even in this relatively mild winter. We have Blue tits, Great tits, Coal tits, Long Tailed tits, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Bullfinch, Dunnock and Robin regularly visit our feeders.

This little Blue tit settled down and ignored the clicking of the camera pretty quickly today. I didn't spend that long in the hide today, it was pretty cold and very windy - as you can see by the blown feathers.

Shot on a 400mm f3.5 lens with a 1.4x converter and an extension tube to allow me to focus close enough!
