Roses by Candlelight

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for your kind comments yesterday and thank you to JaneW for sending many of you my way :) She inspired me to join Blip, although I'm not sure that mine will ever be as mental raucous and lovely as hers! ;)

Today's picture was taken by Ben, who is my boyfriend and 'Uncle Ben' from JaneW's blips, I hope that this does not break any Blip rules, but he is a wonderful photographer and I asked him if he would contribute every once in a while. I got these roses for him because he had had a bad day a few weeks ago, they have lasted pretty well :) He nearly ended up with a mini Christmas tree from the florist's opposite his house, but I thought the roses might be a little bit cheaper more romantic!

We are quite big fans of buying flowers, a few Christmases ago, we had been to a big party and Ben had gone out the next morning to get an 'emergency McDonalds' to fix our poorly heads. When he returned he had the biggest bunch of mistletoe with him that you have ever seen, turns out he had given the Big Issue seller nearby all of his money and taken the lot from him! :)
