New Years Day Roses

It was really good to welcome the new year in with friends and family although Jen and Matthew decided to stay in London and watch the fireworks. Mike and Lois were able to come which was lovely as we had missed seeing them over Christmas.

It was a day of clearing up after the party and eating up some of the party goodies including some tasty profiteroles.

I was delighted to be given these beautiful flowers by a couple of friends who came to the party and the colour of the roses is beautiful.
