Stones + Moon

A bright, clear winter's day - ideal for another short, brisk walk in 'the great outdoors'.

The Waxing Gibbous Moon was clearly visible in the near-cloudless afternoon sky, and so I took the opportunity to frame it high above the recumbent stones of the Recumbent Stone Circle at Easter Aquhorthies, just west of Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
