Swan's Lake
Finally, just got home from a very busy day travelling. Its been a bit hectic, so I'm please to be home! There was a huge traffic jam from a car accident on the M62, so we headed off the motorway to find another route... Not a good idea!
We got completely lost, even with the iPad attempting to direct us on the SatNav.
Luckily, we allowed plenty of time, but good job we did. We parked our hire car on the 13th floor of the car park, and with 4 heavy cases, we needed to get the elevator down to ground level. All 3 lifts weren't working so we had to carry our 4, 20 kilo cases down 13 flights of stairs..
If that wasn't enough, we were stood waiting at the gate before boarding for half an hour because some door was locked and no one nearby had a key that could open it..? or something. Ridiculous!
Anyway, a short walk before we started our travels meant I could get my blip of the lake that I visited the other day (and another other day!) at Temple Newsam because today 4 of the swans we out of hiding! Probably because it was so cold and there weren't many people around. I managed to get quite a few shots of these to baby ones but not so many of the 2 pure white, mummy and daddy ones.
