After the excitement of the New Year weekend (well, Vivien and I had a splendid time with chocolate, Buck's Fizz, other people's fireworks and lanterns, chocolate, Jools Holland, some chocolate etc) we were invited to Winston's for an afternoon soiree. The gentle vista from Meersbrook belies the rather sharp gradient we were tackling at that moment.
