Don't grieve for me for now I'm free
I'm following the path God's laid you see
I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play
Tasks undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of the day
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes these things I too will miss
But be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow
My lifes been full, I've savored much
Good friends, good times,a loved one's touch
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee
God wanted me, He set me free.

My bro gave me this poem years ago. I think he wrote it but not sure. Guess I should ask him.

The death of a loved one is so unbelievably painful. There is just no understanding it, to ask why is pointless. I believe that she is in Heaven right now, w/Jesus. She did what she was supposed to do, she served her purpose on Earth, so God called her name, she listened, and went to home to Him.
