Puss in Boots with Hamburger

Today we came back from Scotland - another mad, all day, long car journey. We got a text late last night saying that our sailing was cancelled on account of the weather and we had to catch an earlier, bigger boat. This meant that we left at 5.30 am, ugg. Anyway it is over now and we are home, fed, the children are in bed and the stove is glowing a hot orange, so all is well with the world.

But back to the blip. In the McDonald's in Holyhead, Wales, there was promotional gear for Puss in Boots. (Rubbishy film by all accounts, except if you are seven). Mr. Down in the Dip was very taken with this mask, he placed the meal order wearing it, he ate his yuck burger with it, lapped up some coke and even went shopping in Asda, asking if they had any milk and something about nine lives. It did look funny, his eyes looked huge and full of expression. Thankfully he took it of for driving although he almost asked someone for directions wearing it.

I'm just glad we don't life anywhere nearby!
