Sad Sunset

Room 4 Floor 6 of Barlavento Hospital gives you a great view over the skyline of the town. We spent hours watching the sun set over Portimao .
I spent 6 hours sitting next to my brother, holding his hand tonight as he took advantage of his drug induced sleep to help ease the pain of his raging cancer.
He is soooo thin and fragile, what a marked change since the last time I saw him, I now fully appreciate why we have been asked to come out to Portugal to see D. I know in my heart that it will not be long.
It was dark when we left the unit and headed off to try and find somewhere to sleep before we returned tomorrow for another day at his bedside.
