Kristy and Ross

Ross is a well-known local of many decades standing. I haven't talked to him in ages, so took the opportunity for a chat when I spied him across the road at his son Peter's house. (Peter is something of a celebrity in his own right, having managed the Beaconsfield mine disaster rescue a few years ago.)
He (Ross) was perched in the shade of the carport, watching the action in the street, including Kristy (his granddaughter) and her parents washing the family cars and helping Mr D and Wyn transfer an enormous television set from one of the other neighbours' to Wyn's place. (Nobody knows how he'll get it into his house...).

No shortage of entertainment around here.
